17 Jun 2022 PURA Kids just grew a little bigger
Trailblazing, better-for-you soft drink brand PURA Soda is in the news again – with an extension to its PURA Kids range.
Last year PURA Soda launched PURA Kids in a 200ml Tetra Pak – and now this ever-evolving brand has announced it will now be available in a convenient, one-litre packs.
The kids product range boasts the same intrinsics as the company’s PURA Soda – low sugar, all-natural flavours, colourant and preservative-free.
It comes in four tasty flavours – pink apple, lemonade, mixed berry and peach.
“In South Africa, 80% of the volume of juices sold in one-litre and 200ml pack options comes from the one-litre variant, so this new addition made sense for us, as it also allows for increased drinking occasions for our consumers,” says Greig Jansen, CEO of PURA Beverage Company.
“We have definitely seen a demand for the one-litre option. Parents often purchase the smaller packs for convenience, particularly when it comes to school lunch boxes and outings, but for home consumption, the bigger pack size works best.
“We wanted to develop a product that appealed to both parents and kids, and after much consumer and market research we believe we have cracked it.
“Our main aim is to make it easier for parents to make healthier choices for their kids.”
PURA Kids is available at all major South African retailers from May, retailing for R24,99.
