Red Bull has unveiled its annual Red Bull Summer Edition – with some rather exotic notes….

Come September, in the beverage world there’s also a fun/fan surprise each year: the wiiings from Red Bull arrive with a brand-new taste.

This year’s Red Bull Summer Edition stands out with the exotic taste of curuba, rounded off with floral notes of elderflower.

So what is curuba?

A Passiflora species from South America, also known as banana passionfruit, the curuba has a wonderful aroma and is quite sour, with a taste described as a hybrid of passion fruit and peaches.

Red Bull Summer Edition Curuba Elderflower is available in lime green 250ml cans and will be available in stores nationwide.

This limited-time offering is available in now in South Africa from September 2024.

Red Bull Energy Drink is available in over 170 countries worldwide, and more than 11 billion cans of Red Bull were sold in 2022 alone. A 250 ml can of Red Bull Energy Drink contains 80 mg of caffeine, about the same as in a home-brewed cup of coffee.
