Here’s news of a new addition to Checkers’ private label African Dew cream liqueur range…

Just in time for Veganuary, Checkers LiquorShop has launched South Africa’s first vegan-friendly Marula-flavoured liqueur under its popular African Dew own-brand range.

Catering for customers who are passionate about living a plant-based lifestyle, the press release notes that, “Being vegan no longer means having to forego a much-loved Springbokkie.” The delicious (your ed is a big fan!) cocktail shooter that’s popular in SA comprises crème de menthe or substitutes and Amarula.

The new African Dew Vegan Marula-flavoured liqueur can be enjoyed on its own, over ice, or as an addition to cocktails, shooters and desserts. The 100% plant-based liqueur is also gluten- and nut free, and available nationwide exclusively from Checkers LiquorShop stores and on Sixty60.

Other variants of the African Dew cream liqueur range include strawberry, chocolate, coffee, condensed milk and marula-flavours.
