New addition to the Chateau Del Rei ‘bubbly in a can’ range

Chill Beverages has added a new variant to its Chateau Del Rei line up of bubbly wines in a can.

New Chateau Del Rei Sweet Red is described by the company as having “a delightful fruity bouquet of ripened plum, strawberry and blackcurrant with an elegant finish that lingers long after the last sip”.

“Chateau Del Rei as a brand and concept has been very well received by consumers. The response to our first semi-sweet canned bubbly launched in 2018 to test the market was so successful that we have extended the range to four variants – there is clear demand for a wider selection to appeal to all tastes from dry to sweet,” says brand manager Limise Mxatule.

“It was inevitable that we would include Pinotage, South Africa’s signature grape variety, into our newest Sweet Red sparkling wine.”

Conveniently packaged in a can and boasting a lower alcohol content of 7%, this easy drinking bubbly-on-the-go is perfect for outdoor adventures such as open air concerts, picnics and sun downers.

The Chateau Del Rei quartet is available in Semi-Sweet, Dry, Rosé and the new Sweet Red.

Chateau Del Rei is available in 250ml can at a RSP of R79 to R89 for a six-pack or around R15 to R20 per 250ml can.
