Phiri says that the ice tea market is experiencing rapid growth both globally and locally and that the new Lipton Ice Tea, Green Ice Tea Pear and Peach, offers a distinctive combination of green ice tea blended with tasty pear and peach, which is genuinely refreshing and uplifts with every sip.

“What sets this variant apart is the blend, a combination first, which we are expecting to be well received by our consumers,” she adds.

The launch of the new variant will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign including in-store activations, a radio campaign, and PR.

“We will also put a major focus on offering sampling of the new flavour combination nationwide over the next three months in order to get consumers to try the naturally refreshing flavour combination,” adds Phiri. 

Green Ice Tea Pear & Peach Flavour is available at retailers nationwide in two pack variations at an RSP of: 500ml = R10.59 and 1.5L packs = R18.99.
