24 Jul 2026 Coca-Cola gets new look that makes it even “more Coca-Cola”
Coca‑Cola is sharpening its global look, to be implemented across more than 200 markets…. SA is not yet apparently one of them…
Coca‑Cola has hit refresh on its global look — not with a radical reinvention, but with a confident tightening of the brand’s most iconic, “unmistakably Coca‑Cola” assets.
Rolling out across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the system is built around a simple strategic idea: consistency is power. When Coca‑Cola shows up, it should look like Coca‑Cola – everywhere, every time.
The refresh amplifies the brand’s most recognisable visual signatures:
- the bold red‑and‑white palette
- the Dynamic Ribbon, now more uplifting and expressive
- the Arden Square, used more prominently as a framing device
- the classic Spencerian script, elevated as a hero asset across packaging and digital experiences
It’s a visual tightening that doesn’t reinvent the brand — it reasserts it.
“Coca‑Cola is one of the most recognised brands in the world, and with that comes a responsibility to keep evolving,” says Arnab Roy, President of Coca‑Cola Global Category.
The refresh, he adds, is about clarity, consistency and building a stronger foundation for growth while staying “unmistakably Coca‑Cola”.
Zero Sugar gets a sharper identity too
Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar is also getting a visual upgrade, one that leans into Coca‑Cola’s heritage while carving out its own distinct cues:
- larger Zero Sugar text
- a bold black Dynamic Ribbon on cans
- a black bottle cap on PET packaging
It’s a clearer, more confident signal to shoppers scanning shelves at speed.
To support the global rollout, Coca‑Cola has launched a new Brand Center and Design Intelligence tools for internal teams and agency partners.
These platforms aim to strengthen governance, craft and consistency at scale — ensuring that the refreshed identity lands cleanly across packaging, retail, equipment and digital environments.
“For over a century, Coca‑Cola has been a global symbol of optimism and authenticity,” says Rapha Abreu, Global VP of Design. The new system, he notes, enables one seamless visual identity and one recognizable brand experience for consumers everywhere.
