“Rhodes has long been associated with the fruit industry in South Africa and is locally and internationally respected for its high quality canned fruit. It just made sense for us to launch our own range given our strong vertical integration in fruit and our skill and knowledge base in fruit processing, which allows us to further add value through our new offering of the 100% fruit juice range,” says Richard Phillips, commercial director of RFG.
Comprising 13 flavours, the juice is packaged in Tetra Pak briks, in two-litre, one-litre, or 200ml sizes, without preservatives or added sugar.
These include the likes of Red Grape, Apple, Orange, Tropical, Cranberry, Guava, Mango, Pineapple, Litchi, Tomato, Ruby Grapefruit, and Mango & Orange. A Strawberry & Banana flavour has arrived in time to add a splash of newness to the upcoming summer months.
Phillips continues, “Consumers will love the new 100% fruit juice range. It tastes good and quenches thirst. It can be enjoyed as is, frozen as ice-lollies, drunk as smoothies or used as refreshing mixers.”
