26 Aug 2013 Propak Cape 2014 already approaching sellout
Propak Cape is a must for all involved in packaging, food processing, printing, labelling and plastics, providing exhibitors with the opportunity to generate sales, gain valuable sales leads and develop business connections.
Propak Cape, together with co-located shows FoodPro, Pro-Plas Expo, Pro-Label Cape and Print Expo, brings exhibitors together across the various sectors, and enables visitors to engage with the most progressive companies in the country and view new products, latest industry trends, product developments and on-site product demonstrations.
“Propak Cape will have a full range of packaging products, equipment and materials on display including converting, packaging materials, suppliers of packaging, packaging and ancillary machinery and end of line materials handling,” says Gary Corin, MD of Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery, organisers of the show.
“The continuing growth of the food processing industry has seen FoodPro exhibitor sales increase with exhibits such as food equipment and ingredients for the food and beverage processing industry, bakery and confectionery equipment. Processing equipment used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, toiletries and detergent industries will also be on display. ProPlas also continues to grow, demonstrating the strength of this industry, and showcases plastics processing machinery, blow moulding equipment, extrusion equipment, granulators, injection moulding equipment, processing aids and materials. Print Expo takes a look at machinery and equipment for pre-press and digital printing, finishing and consumables.”
The exhibition is once again set to create a powerful platform bringing together buyers and sellers in these market sectors. Innovative packaging design that keeps products competitively ahead through a visual identity that communicates the right message to its consumer will also be at the forefront of the exhibition.
“An extremely successful regional event, the show combines all elements of packaging and related industries and provides a powerful marketing vehicle for the broad industry it represents,” says Corin.
The Western Cape is the perfect home for Propak Cape. As a major exporter of wine, fruit and other valuable commodities to international markets, the area is heavily reliant on the packaging and associated industries in realising the country’s export potential and the region’s all-important stake in earning valuable foreign exchange.
In addition to the Cape-based companies, exhibitors are drawn from all over South Africa as well as international participant
Propak Cape has the support of The Institute of Packaging in SA, Printing South Africa and the Plastics Federation of South Africa.
