The price of drinks around the world

Heading off on international travels? You might be in for a nasty shock when it comes to buying a round of drinks – but you’ll be happy if you’re headed to South Africa!

Buying a beer, coffee, bottle of water and a coke in Paris could set you back close to £14, but in Cairo you could get all those drinks for just £3.93, with Cape Town next cheapest at £4.75!

Here is an infographic, put together by Honest Coffees, that details the current price of the most popular drinks across 30 global cities.

Overall, Cape Town is the probably the best drinking hole of all – but we’re not biased! (The current ZAR to £ exchange rate is around 18.64 to 1).
