Hansa unveils new look

Hansa general manager, Khensani Nobanda, says: “We are confident that the sleek and fresh design will resonate with our consumers. While we have modernised the pack, the light and crisp refreshing taste of Hansa that South Africans have come to know and love for close to 40 years will remain the same.”

The new Hansa pack has been modernised with foil neck labels and a prominent hop design symbolic of the Saaz hop that gives the beer its distinctive taste. The hop motif is embossed at the front on the 330ml bottle with the addition of a sleek new Hansa label above it.

The new Hansa label has also been added to the 750ml bottle while the 440ml and 330ml cans have been given a modern revamp with a subtle hop design set against a gold palette for an overall bold and contemporary look. The pack was launched nationwide on 1 March 2014.

South African Breweries (SAB) has given its Hansa Pilsener brand a packaging make-over, in celebration of 20 years of freedom in South Africa.
